Presenting a Refuge with Refreshments and Relaxation inside the Raucous Reality of the Really Radical - a Respite from the Fabulous Folsom Street Fair happening just outside our doors this Sunday. Come by 1286 Folsom (at 9th), step off the streets to enjoy cold water, refreshing fruits, and a radical performance experience, all at the drop of a passed hat.
Schedule (Flexible, just like us):
Noon: Ambient musical and kinetic entertainment within our visionary gallery, featuring aerial artist Madamn Burnz (director of Las Piratas del Fuego, Beauty Shop of Horrors). Upon departing Venus in her early life, Madamn Burnz discovered human society and knew she would spend eternity scouring the Earth in search for homes for her brightly colored silks and eating fire in fancy caverns. She is honored to perform with The Kink on her red and black silks for the Folsom festivities, and perhaps will surprise with…(shh – safety third!)…
With her will be local artist and aerial acrobat Sonja Ljubinkovic and ringmaster Cuba, accompanied by Josh Hertel, creator of “Trap the Happy Thoughts” and vocalist Bon-Bon, international woman of verse. Also on stage, you will thrill to performances by sassy Mz. Poision N Ivy, Rozie Coquette, Marisa Melody, and the hooptastic Kaytibunny.
3 pm: Tabloid Baby and the Porn Clown Posse rock the house, not to mention our stripper pole, with their unique vocal blend, providing a perfect counterpoint to the increasingly frenetic scene outside the gallery. Calming only by comparison, you will be as glad to see them as they are to see you, just trust us on that. Experience a klownplosion of metrosexual electroclash that will leave grease paint tire tracks on your trembling eyeballs!
4 pm: DJ Brian rocks to 80′s beats!
4:30 pm: Wait! There’s more! Aerial performance by Madamn Burnz and the Kink. Plus hoop performance by Kaytibunny!
5 pm: A sensually sultry performance by Shameless Heather, the vivacious vixen of sexy sung verse:

will be rapping and singing for these Folsom festivities

Shameless has led the Love Parade down Market Street for the last three years, MC’d numerous Burning Man Special Events and Anon Salon Sea of Dreams, rapped her way into your heart and freestyled her way around the world. She loves wearing latex and leading lucky pets around on a leash.
Plus, as a special additional treat, we feature the movement of Isa Shisha of dark tribal belly dance, and more aerial antics by Madamn Burnz and The Kink, with a short staff set by Rozie Coquette.
6:30 pm: The ambient beats of DJ Kashia bring our fun filled day to a close!
