Roll Your Own Art rides again, Thursday, Feb 4th.
RYOA is a casual sketching/drawing/painting group with a live model, art supplies, and you. A chill environment to let your eyes lead your hand while your mind leans back in the sidecar. An opportunity to draw from life, regardless of skill, previous experience or statistical correlation. Explore a new style, capture an image, or just play with the pencils and chew on the eraser.
WHAT: Figure drawing group with a live model
BRING: Whatever you like to drink (feel free to use our teapot or fridge).
Paper, pencils, paints, wax, charcoal, heavy machinery, associative context, crystal diadems or whatever makes your art flag unfurl.
KARAOKE?: No. This will be karaoke-free.
WHERE: 1286 Folsom, corner of Ninth, in sunny Soma.
WHEN: Thurs, Feb 4th. 7 to 10 PM. Late arrival no problem. There will be a karaoke surprise at 9 PM and not a minute sooner.
HOW MUCH: Zero. Zilch. This is a free event.
